Recent Events

Members met exclusively with top South Australian cyclists, Jack Bobridge and Rohan Dennis in January for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Adelaide Super-Drome.

The tour showcased the venue's unique track structure and the bike workshop where equipment is custom-made and repaired. Members also had a chance to watch cyclists in a live training drill and test their own skills on the Super-Drome's Watt Bikes.

SA Brewing invited Foundation Members on an exclusive tour in December to give them an insight into the iconic company. Guests enjoyed a sensory tour in the brewhouse and heard from Lion Nathan SA’s Operations Director, Peter David about the brewing processes involved.

Members also had a chance to walk along SA Brewing's iconic Christmas riverbank display and hear from Lion Nathan SA/NT Regional Director, Damien Mori, about the company’s unique business structure.

SA Great members attended an interactive Meet the Media event with the team from Austereo in the Triple M and SAFM studios. Guests were able to see first-hand how radio comes together, with some even taking the opportunity to test their skills on the microphone.

Austereo General Manager, Peter Maynard was also on-hand to brief members about the new concept of digital radio and how it has created  marketing opportunities for local businesses.

SA Great hosted its Networking Monday event series with Kimon Lykos, international builder of technology and innovation brands and in-business magazine contributor.

The event attracted 140 members, giving them an opportunity to see some of BMW's new range in their Adelaide Showroom. Topping off the event in style, George Cross and Harry Who models showcased the season's latest fashions.

Members were invited to a special Meet the Leader event in August to hear from Port Adelaide Football Club’s CEO, Mark Haysman at Allan Scott Park HQ.

Peter Rohde, General Manager – Football Operations and David Arnfield, the Power’s Leadership Program Facilitator were also at the event to talk about the nature of AFL both on and off the field and how the Club implements its leadership development principles.

SA Great hosted a superb evening for SA expats at Sydney's stylish Zeta Bar in April.

The event hosted over 300 of our expats, who were treated to South Australia's finest food, stunning fashion by Liza Emanuele and sensational wines. Live entertainment was provided by SA's DJ Driller. SA's Simon Bryant, Executive Chef at the Hilton Adelaide, prepared the food.

The event was highly successful in targeting SA expats and highlighting Adelaide as a forward-thinking place to live.
