Each year the South Australian of the Year Awards recognises and celebrates the achievements of inspirational South Australians. Being nominated for an Award provides the opportunity to reward excellence and honour those that are making a significant contribution to the State.

The 2009 South Australian of the Year and Young South Australian of the Year were announced in front of more than 650 proud South Australians at the 2009 Annual Dinner. Congratulations to all of the 2009 South Australian of the Year Award winners for their outstanding contributions to our State.
