Recently SA Great  made a shift in its strategic intent  to ensure that greater focus is placed on promoting South Australia outside of the state, resulting in an increase in business investment and talent within our state.

SA Great's objective is to create a fantastic impression of South Australia by demonstrating business capability, highlighting industry development and growing state confidence.

SA Great is an independent Incorporated Association.

Dr Bill Griggs ASM AM has been named the 2009 South Australian of the Year at the Annual Dinner in front of more than 650 proud South Australians.

Julian O'Shea was also announced as the 2009 Young South Australian of the Year at the event, while 8 inspiring South Australians received category awards at a special ceremony at the Adelaide Town Hall.
